The huge sun mirrors ("Solspeilet") that is set up on the hillside above Rjukan, to reflect sunlight down on the town square, is seen during its officially opening in Rjukan, Norway. Sun-starved residents of a remote Norwegian village unveiled an ingenious mirror system to bring natural light to their mountain valley home, enveloped in darkness for half of the year.
